Police have concluded sweeping and clearing operations at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City in Metro Manila in the wake of a bomb threat March 28, and have declared the campus safe. All staff and students have been allowed back into the campus to retrieve their belongings and vehicles, although classes remain suspended for the day. Expect lingering traffic disruptions in the area.
Authorities evacuated students and suspended classes at about 1000 after two text messages were delivered via a university's helpline around 0830, threatening a "huge explosion" at the campus.
Allow additional time if travelling near the Ateneo de Manila University or consider taking alternate route to avoid affected area, if possible.
